Lest You Think...

we are the perfect family. You would be mistaken. We do argue/fight with our disobedient children and our disobedient other. We are impatient and don't like being around each other at times. We do have to suck it up and apologize for our attitudes/actions. YET....., We Know Who We Are......., Why We Are Here........ and What We Need to be Doing, because of Him.
Why I really write is to portray the truth that I think about often and prayed about ferverently throughout this last pregnancy. Is 4 Healthy Babies possible these days? How many families do you know that have had 4 Healthy Babies with no complications? From the first moment you find out a baby is brewing until the weeks after birth there are so many things that can happen and do happen. So my promise to God in my prayers leading up to Kohen's birth was that if this baby was healthy like the rest that I would give credit, glory and praise to Him for finding favor on us...... 4 Healthy Babies....... So the truth is that God has been gracious to us and deserves all the praise for filling up our quiver with healthy ammunition. He has been faithful to us as we have trusted in Him. To Him be the Glory..... Honor..... and Praise!!!
Can't wait to see what God is going to do with these little monsters.

hi all!

we are officially a family of 6.

sorry about the post with no details...my best friend posted that, and i wanted to be the one to tell you all about....HIM!

yup, another little man.

keith and i are having fun saying we are the parents of 3 boys now (plus a ridiculously cute little girl!)

introducing...Kohen Scout.

pictures don't do this kid justice.

he looks exactly like my other little asian babies.

dark hair and dark eyes.

he really is a sweetie.

so, ya'll are probably wondering who won the give-a-way?!

well, here are the official details, and the winner:

born oct. 24th, 5:35am

7 lbs. 4 oz.

so, a few people had oct. 24th down as the day...i was surprised! keith and i decided that you first needed to get the date right, then the sex, then the weight.

this cabinet renovation has been in my brain since before we moved into this house.

i knew they would look so much nicer, all white and pretty.

and it matches our floor so much better too.

yes, my kitchen is always this clean with 3 littles running around.

the patch.

living in florida, there isn't much option of pumpkin patches to go to.

which is really quite depressing.

what's fall without a pumpkin patch?

there is a little town near us that had a "fall festival".

it's was okay. the 90 degree weather didn't help things much, but i'm not complaining.

okay, i'm complaining a little.

they had lots of alcoholic beverages. which i couldn't enjoy.

lots of food. which i couldn't enjoy cause it was too expensive.

and lots of people. which i thoroughly enjoyed watching.

they did have a little spot that had some pumpkins, so i snapped a few pics of the littles.

the littles then proceeded to get in trouble by the pumpkin patch master.

i think his exact words were "don't climb on those pumpkins kids or you'll poke your eyes out."

who says that?

well, i thought i was in labor on saturday night.

which means i am now on bedrest until friday.

my midwife says that if i go into labor anytime after friday, that it will be fine!

the baby's a coming soon!

maybe we need to figure out a name.

hmmmm.

the other night at dinner, caedmon had an interesting question for me:

"mommy, is daddy your servant?"

i about spit out my food.

"well" i said, "daddy does help mommy out a lot these days, but it's because mommy has a baby in her belly, not because he's my servant."

funny thing, i can totally see how caedmon (or anybody) would think that keith was my servant.

i lay on the couch all day and night...keith gets me everything i need.

he takes care of all the little people.

yah, so maybe he is my servant.

would it be such a bad thing?

home depot days.

since we moved to florida, we have tried to participate in home depot days every first saturday of the month.

it's fun.

it's free.

it gets us out of the house.

and we get to return with crap, i mean a useful wooden something or other.

i'm not gonna lie.

i've thrown away more than 1 useful wooden something or other.

only because it takes up so much room!

and look at my kids aprons...we have a lot of pins on there, which means they've built a lot of things.

anywho.

it's been totally fun to hear when ya'll think this babe will get here.

i must say though, a lot of you have said it's going to be a boy...and i certainly hope not.

there is too much boy in this house.

hadley and i want another girl.

somebody that doesn't want to wrestle every moment of the day.

or dress up in super-hero costumes.

or grab their "boy parts" all.day.long. just because--not because they have to go potty or anything.

or pee all over the floor around the toilet, cause they accidentally missed.

yah, we need another girl.

(plus, we've decided on a girl name, just not a boy name).

and to all of you who guessed this baby would be over 9 pounds...i've secretly cursed you under my breath.

no way in "you know what" shall i be birthing a 9 lb.+ baby without drugs.

nope, not gonna happen.

i like my dad's suggestion of a little 6 pounder.
