what hadley wore wednesday.

y'all know i let my daughter pick her own clothes out.
she comes up with some AMAZING outfits.

she can pull any outfit off...maybe it's because she's so darn cute.
whatever it is, i love my little fashionista.
{look at her beaming smile!  that is my hadley bean}

any girl who can rock polka dots with striped knee highs, and ankle boots...is a winner in my book.

i hold tight to this time with her...soon enough, she will actually care about what people think of her and her outfit choices.
i'm hoping she will still be confident in her style.

and to all those people who might look at her and laugh at her choices?
well look out
 i'm a mean mama bear.

  3. cuteness!
I think this is how we should all dress. It makes me smile to see little girls dressing fun and free. I could learn a couple of things from them.

  6. Super cute! Yesterday my 2 1/2 year old wore her footy pj's all day long ~ even to the parents meeting at church that I was leading and this morning.... my 7 year old son: Brown athletic pants, white and gray shirt all while sporting movie theatre 3D glasses with the lenses removed ~ Awesome! =)

  7. I think with all the wacky fashion that is out there she will have no problem continuing her choice of clothing! My daughter is starting to have a preference of clothes and it is too stinkin cute!

  8. Aww, what a cutie! I was also very independent in my clothing choices when I was little... it makes for funny photos to look back on as an adult :) Hadley looks a whole lot cuter in her outfit than my outfits were, hahaha.

  14. love it. she's so cute...
makenna does the same thing, and sometimes the outfits get pretty crazy but every once in a while she will pick something very stylish and i'm so proud. at the parade this weekend people from the floats were saying how cute her outfit was. i'm used to getting weird looks because half the time i'm toting kids in pajamas so when she's actually wearing clothes i don't really care if people look at her funny! miss you guys!
    love you,

I always let AVa and Savie choose their clothes too!
of course ava is always in knee socks but with pajamas on! HA HA! she even wears them out to restaurants/barnes & noble. she's almost 10 and still doesn't care what anyone thinks of her outfits!
    way to go mama .

  17. Reminds me of my younger sister. She would always pick out some crazy outfits (and still does), but it works on her. She's now studying fashion design. Hadley could definitely end up the same! Her outfit just works!

  24. I just found your blog today, linked from a friend of mine. I love this post about your gal's fab fashions. We have girls who are 7 and 6, and they bring a smile to my face with their original concoctions. Praying they all hold on to their individual expression-isms. Love love love it.
