embrace the camera: april 7th

it's time to jump in the picture with your kids---once a week we do this around here.
we finally got to celebrate caedmon's birthday this past weekend (he had been waiting so patiently for elsa to be home).  the party was fun---and everyone took turns taking a picture with the birthday boy and a mustache.
so today is about mr. anderson and caedmon...and their fake 'staches.

please lord, do not let my boys ever grow facial hair.

so, are you ready to embrace the camera?
here's the nitty gritty:
1.  take a picture with you and your kids/spouse/family member/friend/whatever.
2.  blog about that picture and include a link to our blog, or grab our button.
3.  link your blog post up on mr. linky below.
4.  visit the other embracers...give each other lots of compliments about how good we look with our greasy hair and sweatpants velour jogging suits on.  cause yah, we need a little boost when it's been days since our last shower.
5.  have fun!

26 clever remarks:

  6. Hi Emily!

We are going to have a "colective post" here (in Brazil) about the "real maternity". It is about our imperfections, our losses, our mistakes... It is about doing things that we shouldn´t do (like take the kids to McDonald´s when you are feeling tired or let them wacth some TV for one morning because you have tons of things to do... or not).

It is about you trying to be the BEST MOTHER you CAN BE!
    It is about reality.

I would be extremaly happy if you could join us!!!! It´s going to happen this Friday. All you have to do is write a post about an aspect of your mother experience that is not so perfect, grab the button on my post (http://diariodos3mosqueteiros.blogspot.com/2011/04/maternidade-real-blogagem-coletiva.html) and let me know about your post of "real maternity" (so I will put a link on my post sending people to read your).

What do you think about it???
    Kisses and blessings.

  21. Aw, Man! I just missed this. I found your blog about 7.9 seconds ago and already love it. Yeah...you've got "one of those"...the good ones.

I cracked up at the velour jogging suit and shower comment...all I will say is "Are you in my house? Are you watching me like RIGHT NOW?" Ha!

Can't wait to shower and put on makeup for next week's pic. Lol.
