embrace the camera: nov. 17th

i am recovering from a few days of being a single mom.
mr. anderson returned yesterday after being gone for business---and i am so glad to have him home.
9 months prego, PLUS 5 small children equals exhausted.
(as if i wasn't exhausted to begin with)
seriously, all the single ladies...how the he-zeck do you do it?
many props and fist bumps to you.

so, i didn't get a picture with any of the littles this week.
i know, GASP.
so, i pulled an oldie out...one from when sweet baby kohen was just a few weeks old.
i picked this picture because 1) it's so dang cute and 2) i'm gonna have another nugget really soon and this picture gets me excited.
i love my little nuggets.
isn't he scrumptious?

i have a feeling this nugget in my belly is getting ready to make an entrance.
i have been early with all my babes (milo, born at 36 weeks weighing in at a whopping 7 lbs---fatty).
and i am officially 36 weeks today...i have been having contractions all this week...but they always stop.
a few have been pretty painful, which freaks me out because it reminds me of the impending pain i'm about to go through.  (i give birth naturally)
mr. anderson says i shouldn't be scared but i tell him to shut his mouth.
he would be scared too if someone said "in a few days/weeks you will be hit with constant pain for 12-15 hours, and then you will proceed to push something way too big, out of your body.  and it's gonna hurt.  a lot."
so yes, mr. anderson.  allow me to be a little bit scared.
cause you would be too, mkay?

someone just give me an epidural and i'll pretend i'm not a hippie for one day.

  2. yes, tell mr. anderson that you most definitely have the right to be scared. heck, I got an epidural and I would be scared too! child birth is no easy task.

but you do make some really cute little nuggets, so I guess it is all worth it right? :)

hoping for a smooth labor and delivery for you!

  5. Sweet picture! I had an epidural with my first one and never went back (only two more ~ you so have me beat ☺)! But I would never go back. I felt so much better afterwards. Not tired and more like myself. Anyway, prayers for you that all goes fabulously! And personally, I am looking forward to seeing pics of another beautiful Anderson baby!

  10. We have gone back and forth about natural birth. My husband's mom gave birth to 4 out of 6 children at HOME! She is a champ. I would love to go natural, but sometimes I think I will chicken out :].

  15. You will do great in Labor! But I can honestly say - I am dreading that again! and super scared to face it again and I'm not even pregnant yet! I want another one, but I hate the pain!!!!

  16. I'm not brave enough to go natural. I told everyone at the hospital that my daughter wasn't coming out until I had an epidural. Good for you for braving the med-free, hospital free birth...again :)

  18. I'm excited to "meet" the newest Anderson :) I have a BAD case of baby fever so I'm living vicariously through you!

  19. 36 weeks - yay! Can't wait to hear if this newest little nugget is a he or she!

We live in the UK and in the socialised medical system here most women have their babies naturally.

And most of them don't want to have a second child.

Props to you for doing this for the 5th time naturally! I'm 22 week prego with my 3rd and will be scrawling "bring on the epidural" in big block letters across my birth plan. :)

  20. Yep, you sure do have beautiful babies. This week's picture made me all excited to see the one in the belly soon. Can't wait to find out boy or girl to add to your fun mix. Here's hoping for a safe and fast delivery:)

  24. I'm 4.5 months preggo with my first and planning to give birth naturally. I'd love to hear your experience!

  25. Wow, that's a whole lot of natural birth! For some reason I thought you only did the natural thing with your youngest (I thought you had epidurals with your first three), but that is amazing!
