embrace the camera: july 28th

*winner of give-a-way day is...
Blogger Kylie Kreikemeier
email me lady and i'll get you hooked up with your goods!*

i am using this weeks embrace the camera to show off the baby bump.
it's funny that when i am first pregnant and totally sick, i know (to the day) how pregnant i am...6 weeks, 5 days.  11 weeks, 2 days...etc.  i am just slowly counting down the days, in hopes of feeling better.
but once that sickness goes away, i cannot ever remember how pregnant i am.
it took me about 5 minutes tonight to figure out that i am 20 weeks pregnant.
20 weeks!
halfway there (although, i tend to go early, so less than halfway, hopefully!)

(i totally love my modeling poses---it's all from my 5 year old runway experience)
the watermelon is forming...and growing daily.
seriously.
i fit into like 2 pairs of pants now.

so, are you ready to embrace the camera?
here's the nitty gritty:
1.  take a picture with you and your kids/spouse/family member/friend/whatever.
2.  blog about that picture and include a link to our blog, or grab our button.
3.  link your blog post up on the link tool below.
4.  visit the other embracers...give each other lots of compliments about how good we look with our greasy hair and sweatpants velour jogging suits on.  cause yah, we need a little boost when it's been days since our last shower.
5.  have fun!

milo man, you're 4.

4 years ago today, a little anderson asian nugget came along and stole my birthday month.  (dangit)
milo decided to grace us with his presence...4 weeks early.
he weighed 7 lbs.

he's always been a chunky monkey...my chipped tooth, nascar lovin', face-making, wenis grabbin', master at the stink eye, hilarious, chunky monkey.

here are some of my favorite pics of the big 4 year old.

and the best picture for last:
this picture makes me flash forward to his future.
a nascar drivin', moustache wearin', crazy uncle milo.

honestly, i know every mother says this about their children, but i could not imagine our life without him.
he literally is one of the funniest kids i know.
i am thankful for the 4 years that i've gotten to spend with him.
he is such a joy.

happy birthday milo!

love,
daddy...mama...caedmon...hadley...elsa...kohen...and baby joey logano (what milo would like to name the baby if we gave him the honor)

still celebrating.

even though my big day is over, i can still celebrate, right?
today, i have 4 shops that i love, celebrating with me...and they want to give you something (even though it's MY birthday we are celebrating.  i'm so generous, y'all).

each of these ladies has generously offered to give-a-way a $30 shop credit to their stores ($30 for 30 glorious years).
so, that's 4 shops, $30 towards each shop.  if i'm doing my calculations correctly (and i'm not saying that i am), that is $120 to just spend.
on me, if you'd like.
or whomever.

please click on their shop/blog links to get a better view of their lovelies...believe me, you will be glad you did.

The Big 3-0

So I was informed that many of you got a sneak preview of this post due to inexperienced blogging techniques and however google reader works(I couldn't figure out how to schedule a freakin post). Anyhow, enjoy, again! And I am aware that this post is competing with the release of Harry Potter. So Happy Birthday Babe and good afternoon, hope you got enough sleep.

Emily has done many things in her life in the last 30 years. Each year has brought a special experience that has helped her to grow into the Beautiful, Lovely Bride and Mommy that I Love!! Even more than You all. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights in her last 30 years. (written in 1st person for artistic effect)

Age 4 – Time to test my limits, Daddy, I want a Pony for Christmas

Age 5 – Hey Mr. Barber, please leave it long in the back and keep my front shorter and out of my eyes, I heard this is in right now

Age 6 – Hello Kindergarten, my name is Emily, nice to meet you

Age 7 – OK Tap Dance when do we get to the Hip Hop session

Age 8 – Hey Grandpa, is it time to sit on the porch and listen to the Royals game

Age 9 –You mean I have to do this work at home, I’m not so much in love with school anymore

Age 10 – Hello Little sister, call me when you grow up

Age 11 – So you’re telling me that Santa Claus is not real, “You’re Crazy”(in my best Nacho voice)
