i posted about these mailboxes last year around valentines day.
that particular post has been blowing up all over the intranet these last few weeks...it's the easiest DIY ever, and it's super cute, so i wanted to re-post it, to give you a jump start on valentine's day.
also, i saw these mailboxes at the target dollar section yesterday---they even had turquoise---go get them now!
supplies:
mailboxes (mine were found in the target dollar section)
candlesticks (mine were found at the goodwill, then i spray painted them black)
a letter to monogram the mailbox
gorilla glue
you make these bad boys, just like you would make a cake stand.
after the candlestick is fully done drying (if you spray painted it) then glue it to your mailbox.
let sit for 24 hours.
add your letters and voila!
you've got mail...boxes.
the week of valentine's day, i put little love notes and treats in these, for the kids.
it's the easiest DIY ever and i promise your kiddos (or significant other!) will love these.
happy crafting!
---------------
and lastly, enjoy some instagram pics from this week.
i have become one of those people. you know, the people who only take pictures with their iPhone now.
yah, that's me.
date night, holla!
and i got some new frames---from coastal.com.
i totally feel like a librarian now.
getting our teeth cleaned.
she is obviously thrilled about it.
sisters. CHEEKS!
i could eat those scrumptious cheeks.
i love this kid.
and i got a new haircut.
yes ma'am.

and lastly, hadley had time with daddy the other night.
he gave her a pedicure.
such a good daddy he is.

50 clever remarks:
May have to try the mailbox things. I bought some candlesticks at a garage sale in the fall and stuck them in the garage. Unfortunately my boys have been using them as weapons so now I'll have to dig around and find them. Don't you love instagram??
i need to make those mailboxes this year. so cute. and, i am one of those people who only takes iphone pics. it's ridiculous but i can't stop! :) and, we might have to try sunglasses at the dentist. asher hates it -screams the whole time (matt and i and the entire dentist staff have to hold him down to get his teeth cleaned) and the last time we went he ended the visit by puking all over matt and the office floor. loveliness, i tell ya.
I want those mailboxes! I wonder if I can find some here in england?! You'll have to make another couple of those yourself for this year!
Okay, 1) I love those glasses on you. I think they can look silly on some people, but you really pull them off. The picture of you and your husband is just perfect. 2) The haircut is super cute. 3) The mailboxes are adorable!
the pedicure photo is what gets me, wow, what a GREAT daddy!!!
I am always on instagram!
I need to add you or did I?!
LOVE the mailboxes too cute!
I remember them now from last year!

What a sweet papa Mr. Anderson is. He often reminds me of the papa of my baby girl. :) What blessings these fine men are. I thought of your post from last year when I saw the cutesy mailboxes in Target's dollar bins. SO doing this and love the simple, cheap idea!
oh my goodness!! that last one is so cute!!! what a great dad. glad you got a hair cut - I'm sure you needed it. I haven't had my hair cut since my baby was born in July - I'm in desperate need of one!! :)
Hope y'all are adjusting to life with one more okay.
Ummm, can I leave work now and run to Target?! Love that idea! I hadn't seen it, so thanks for sharing! And I'm also one of those people who only takes pics on their iPhone. And LOVE your haircut! Makes me want to cut mine! Ahhh, the great hair debate: to cut or not to cut, that is the question!
Daddy giving pedicures... so cute!
You made me very happy this morning. I looked and looked for these exact mailboxes on Pinterest last night, but could not find them anywhere. And now I'm getting ready to go to my Target $1 Section!
If you don't mind, I'm going to put you on my Thursday Blog Linkage tomorrow so everyone can look at the mailboxes... and your cute kiddos... and Olive's beautiful cheeks.
I am one of those people, too. *sigh* . . . I'm trying to get better this year about using my "good camera" but it is so not convenient to have to plug it in, edit the pics, yadda yadda yadda, when all I have to do with the iPhone is add a filter and VOILA!
Love the mailboxes. DEFINITELY using that DIY! :)
Yes! I saw these in the dollar section and remembered your post so I picked some up! Now i just need to find some candle sticks...
I love those mail boxes!!! I need to do those this year for my kids! Your family is beautiful!
My favorite part was the pedi! What a wonderful daddy! Those are the moments she will look back on and love.
Cuuuute glasses!! I love them! And I had seen the link you put on your fb to get the $20 voucher for coastal.com and I totally bought one and just got my frames in the mail. I love them! One pair is literally called "Tina Fey" and the other is very Atticus Finch. :) The first pair I got with the first free pair code then the second with the voucher. I'm so glad you shared that!
So cute! I may or may not run right over to Target to see if they have these!
Olive's cheeks are sooo cute! And lucky Hadley!
Do we think if I made these for everyone in my office they would think I was nuts? I'm thinking maybe??
