your name means wise warrior, and that couldn't be more true of you.  you are most definitely wise, and you are most definitely a warrior.

you and i are always butting heads but i hope you know how much i love you.  you have been through a lot in your 7 (almost 8!) years of life.  having to be the big brother of this brood isn't always easy, but i hope you know how special you are.  caedmon, god knew what he was doing when he made you our first child...the first of many little andersons.  you are loved.

dear hadley,

my sweet, special girl.  oh how my heart loves you.  as my first daughter, you changed me in so many ways.  i always thought i only wanted boys, but once you entered my life, i knew i was wrong.  you are such a soft soul and i know the lord will use you in awesome ways.  as your name means "light in the meadow" we know you'll be the light amongst the darkness.

dear elsa,

oh how your life has changed this past year.  last valentines day, i was dreaming of you being in our family and now you are here.  it's been hard and you and i both know this, but i also hope you know that even through the hard times, we love you and know that god perfectly planned you for our family.  you, elsa, are an anderson.  forever and ever.

dear milo,

my NASCAR loving fool.  you bring such a smile to my face (when you're not whining).  you have always been the funniest of the brood...making us all laugh with your crazy antics.  even though you're hilarious, you also have a soft side, which i've gotten to see since having olive.  you love her tremendously, and are so proud to be her big brother.

dear kohen,

my loud and moody 2 year old.  i love you.  we always thought you'd be the baby (and i think you always thought that too, and maybe still think that)...but here you are now, a big brother.  you are a handful, but can get away with just about anything when you flash your big, brown eyes at me.  i love our days spent together, with you talking my ear off.  you are so loved...and we all think you're pretty funny when you want to be.

dear olive,

you softened my heart, the minute you were born.  i am amazed at how well the lord knows what we need.  and you, my dear, were needed.  i could kiss your squishy cheeks all day long, and listen to you coo at me as well.  a smile from you will take away any pain from the day.  you're a perfect caboose to our train.

dear mr. anderson,

i've said it before but you are the cheese to my macaroni.

the peanut butter to my jelly.

the harry to my potter.

the instagram to my iPhone.

our life is not perfect, but i wouldn't want to do life with anyone else.

for reals.  you've loved me even when i don't deserve it.  and through that, have showed me god's love.
